Not all students can afford a Mac to use at home.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Also I agree with the labels. When I first used the iPhone I thought that the little i in the corner did that, instead of showing a new screen, like settings. They should use another icon for that like a cog.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The subject sounds great. Mobile Phone Programming rather than specifically tied to one type of mobile phone.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Obviously someone wouldn&amp;#39;t enroll in a subject requiring a mac if they didn&amp;#39;t own one. You can hardly require them to buy a Mac to do this subject, and nobody wants to be chained to a Mac-filled lab in order to do their work. The majority of the financial crisis was the result of people&amp;#39;s reactions - panic causes people to do stupid things, but those who did not panic did not suffer (the housing bubble is a separate issues that was localised, I&amp;#39;m referring to the global crisis).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I think you are correct with regards to the cheap-trinkets market, and I will also be glad to see this go and better use made of our resources. The overall value of an economy only grows if another is shrinking (eg. money moving from US to Australia) or non-economy goods are converted into economy-money (eg. selling resources). At least for Azure, developers are charged via a pricing model that is very tightly bound to resource consumption. So if you consume more, you pay more. That's not a stab at the iPod really, more a stab at the music industry / itunes for selling ~128kbps junk at FLAC prices... Obviously the Zune is no better and the idea of 'renting' music is as preposterous as paying for a slightly more usable version of the common radio.
